Our Process
Site Visit
During this 30-60 minute visit, our goal is to become familiar with the customer, the jobsite, and the project goals. To best serve our customers, we want to know as much as possible about their experiences with previous remodeling projects, their concerns about the current project, and their motivations for taking on a remodel or addition. We will gather broad details so that we can provide a preliminary estimate range and discuss whether those numbers are in line with the customer’s budget. In this meeting, we will be transparent and forthright in answering questions about the project’s complexity, timeframe, stages, and potential costs.
Design Proposal and Budget
Following the site visit, our team will craft a design proposal and budget range to present to the customer. The design proposal details how we will approach planning and designing the project and offers a clear estimation of the associated design expenses. We will also present an estimated price range to build the project based on its size and scope. Upon the client's approval of the design proposal, a retainer will be gathered to cover the cost of design labor on an hourly basis. Any remaining funds from this retainer will be applied as a credit towards building the project.
Planning and Permitting
Once the design proposal is accepted, our design experts work to incorporate the client's vision, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements into a detailed plan. Our designers work closely with our remodel construction experts as well as our customers, guarantying that the design not only meets the client's expectations but also fits within their budget constraints.
Once the design is complete, we present a comprehensive bid, build contract, and timeline. Our collaborative process guarantees that the bid aligns seamlessly with the design to eliminate costly change orders, discrepancies between contractors and designers, and time-draining miscommunications. Once accepted and signed, we immediately begin applying for permits, ordering materials, and scheduling tradesman according to the timeline.
Build the Project
Our construction team swings into action, to bring the design to life. Our detail oriented craftsmen and project managers work in tandem to execute the construction phase efficiently. Regular updates and open communication channels keep clients informed about the progress, fostering a collaborative approach that ensures the project stays on track.
Finalize and Clean Up
As the construction phase concludes, our attention turns to finalizing the project and ensuring a pristine finish. A comprehensive inspection is conducted to address any remaining details or client-specific requests. We prioritize cleanliness during this phase, ensuring that the remodeled space is not only aesthetically pleasing but also ready for immediate enjoyment. Our commitment to excellence extends to the final touches, leaving clients with a completed project that exceeds expectations.
